Ok heres the score I've just edited the FPE's for 2 of the main enimy characters in H.E.Trooper to have new weapons , i have completely rebuilt the standalone level by level, all the enimy ai that have the edited fpe's still retain the old weapons? surely the standalone should read the fpe and change this?
i tried deleting the old weapons from the build and they just dont have them? is there a way around this surley i dont have to delete and relay 100's of characters?
EDIT: well thats abit long winded i had to drag out the offending characters to the desktop reload all the maps to get the models missing error save them , delete the dbo's (Thanks Myke for pointing that one out) and tomorrow the task of relaying them all , what this actually is is the engine retaining the map info and not updating the fpe info so basically anything on the map e.g say with a pistol the engine keeps that pistol even if you change the fpe to a rifle (maybe something worth looking at :/ "ho hum said poo"

Yeah did that m8 didnt work for some reason characters already laid on a map retain the old info even when you replace the FPE, didnt get chance to test deleting the dbo as what i did was dragged out the model files to the desktop, reloaded all the maps causing the missing file error, saved them all put the model files back in the folder. opened each map up and re laid them all. It was long winded took all day, but they are back on and working with the correct weapons
