Hi Lee and your Team, as you well know I have been running a MP competition on here from last year to create interest in MP.
Anyway I have notice that the multiplayer build is not copying over some of the content to steam server workshop. This makes it hard to update maps and find any issues. I'm having to copy content through my network for the level to work in MP.

Will you please have a look into this for us who love MP. I understand it is not high on the game guru list of things to look at. But I'm sure if there was a way to delete all cache from steam, a purge option or really look into a standalone for MP which will copy all the content, including custom script, image, etc. - I would invest cash into this lol.

P.S. custom script "DO" carry over to the steam workshop folder but don't work as they are not in the scriptbank of game guru include the image files. But saying that custom scripts work once manually copied into the scriptbank. Would it not be a good idea to just look into also including the directory path for these scripts, image, etc. for MP game levels?

Custom scripts do not work in multiplayer full stop, it's not because they're in the wrong folder, it's because multiplayer doesn't have the custom script functionality yet.

I'm not sure about your issue of uploading, as far as i was aware there is no uploading needed for multiplayer, you run it on your machine, somebody joins you from the lobby through gameguru, and the entities etc are streamed directly to them from your machine.

Hi Belidos, I have had the custom script working okay as said above. I'm talking about steam workshop content, etc. If ever you do look at your workshop folder located here \Steam\steamapps\workshop\ your find some of the files (If these file also transferred or updated correctly there won't be that much of an issue, not all files update when you exit GG and Steam).
It will also include the custom script file(s) on the remote PC not localhost PC.
In the content folder base on which workshop app Ver / USER ID / No. you will also see the scriptbank_multiplayer@scriptname file which is the custom script file.

In my remote PC this would be located here:-

\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\266310\895080812\

Which will hold all the custom script and extra game entities not including in the remote PC stock and any DLC's not included. Most are encrypted except the custom lua script.

What I'm saying is if there was a way to include the path to the custom script file and any images you are using then it will solve half the MP custom script issue.
