I've noticed for the last couple of updates that my tab/tab settings seem to carry over when i start a new map, and even occasionally when i load GameGuru from a fresh start.

Anyone else had this issue?

Steps:

1. Create a map
2. Enter test mode
3. Change the settings in tab/tab
4. Exit test mode
5. Create a new map
6. Enter test mode

The settings from the previous map will now be active on the new map.

As i said, this happens almost all the time when you create a new map, and every now and then when you close down GameGuru and load it again.

Is this a bug?
Or has it been changed to do this?

If it has been changed to do this is there a way to disable it from doing it? Because it is REALLY annoying. I do a lot of messing about with the settings, and sometimes you can mess around too much and it's just easier to start a new level to bring it back to default and start over, but with it like this you can't do that.

Yeah, I have notice that as well.

A new map should always have default settings I think.

My thoughts on this.. i like it when a new level holds my custom settings.. else i need to go through the whole process (30+ sliders to certain levels) again when creating a new level for the same game.

Give us a save option.. save current (custom) settings to a 'settings' slot.
Open each new level with Default settings.. and TabTab click 'Settings' and choose 1 of 4 (?) saved custom settings..

Yes, it cn be useful at times, but it can be very annoying. What i've done is found an old saved map that has default settings, flattened it and removed everything, then saved it as default_flat.fpe and whenever i want a new level i load that. But i shouldn't really have to.
