is it possible to set a character with binoculars as a spotter
and spawn a sniper character until the spotter is dead,
what i mean is only spawn the snipers one at time.
can this be done in standard settings,

done a quick test of sniper in this thread https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/217680
but we can not use zoom on weapons in third person at the moment so hope to make as
an enemy character. any ideas appreciated.

The animations to the character would have to be added.
You would need to make the binoculars a weapon, so it can be assigned to the AI.
In the docs/GameGuru Weapon MAX Files folder are the standard weapons rigs are there in 3dsmax version

A script would have to be modified to call the animations and any communication you would like the snipers to respond to.

This behavior does not exist out of the box

i was thinking mabie assign spotter to camera entity script ?.
sort of spawn on alert the sniper . scripting not my favorite, but looks like
i am going to spend some time learning lua.

ok you can use standard trigger zone for spawning so all not lost,

i now right mouse click spotter clicked properties and added radar\radar.lua to the main in the spotter properties
this calls up the radar hud on screen and sniper shows on radar so the spotter is now acting as a prop and calling up
the radar hud and add a sound file for call out.

so all i need now is to spawn another spotter in a triger zone in another location on death of the first spotter.
to repeat the same process further . or mabie just repeat the process, although the spotter is dead the trigger
zone will be still there but inactive, unless you can set destroy trigger zone on death of spotter.

this might be some help or interest to others i hope that dont use scripting,
