Hi all,

We're planning a big store update soon, and as part of that, we'll be launching a new newsletter (remember that the store is no longer directly affiliated with TGC, but does support TGC products). This won't simply be 'what's new' on the store, but will be aimed at game development across the board, featuring articles, interviews, tutorials, game previews, WIP reports, release news, etc, in essence, everything development related.

We're looking for contributions, anything you'd like to showcase, ideas, etc, basically let us know what you'd like to see.

So, if you've got anything to add, please email me at dave@tgcstore.net.

Thanks all, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you, I kinda miss those!

EDIT: BTW: I just checked my email archives and I still have them going back to issue 26 from February 24, 2005, lol. Yeah, it was a good thing!

Good idea store reinventing itself, great step.
If the final goal is ending to selling comunity game there as steam does, it would be great as well.
There are great wips and showcasing games on board.

I'm working in a maze stuff, ignore it this meet the requeriments.

How I'm showcasing my stuff?

I'm recreating a posible game level by level with the stuff I'm working on. Of course customer can ending doing the game he want, just giving ideas.

I'm uploading a 3gb video to yt , I'll post next year, when done.

Now seriusly, I'm willing to help in the new aventure, as much as possible.

I hope this update on the store is a performance update, Jason's doing a great job, but the servers he's using are really holding him back. Took a week off work because I got a new pc. and i'm really glad I did, trying o download all my purchased assets again is a nightmare, it's taken me a whole week solid so far and i'm not finished yet, it keeps downloading 20 or so files then timing out and I have to start over again.

@Belidos

Sorry you're having problems. You can now download manually if you're having issues, but I'll draw Jason's attention to this thread and your comment.

@3Com

Feel free to email me at dave@tgcstore.net with your ideas and we can dicuss them.

Yeah I can download manually, but A: it's almost 4 thousand files, and downloading them one at a time is just as much of a pain and a lot of work, and B: the manual download files don't have the author folder structures, so I have no idea where to put them.

I've already mentioned it to Jasoon, and he's said there have been some issues that he's working through.

Fortunatelly I've files folder buckup, so I just restore them, omitting the existing one (stock one).

For anyone interested, the GCS store has launched it's first newsletter. You can read it here.

We plan an email release any day now, which will go out to current store subscribers.

This is a newsletter to cover everything store related, while mentioning GameGuru updates, features, forums users AND AGK stuff. So, it's more akin to the newsletters of old, than something new and specifically for the store.

Also, 3Com, I noticed your comment and vote on the Greenlight page, thank you! Very much appreciated!

Totally agree with 3com here selling completed games on the store would be a massive asset ( you could even test them lol ) but you'd spend your whole life playing lol ne mind eh!.
