This guy is making changes to the blender U.I. Makes me want to try learning blender again.

Not sure how the UI and control method can be improved, its the only modeling software I've been able to understand, never worked out how to use any others, itspretty near perfect already for me.

I might look at this ,can't get into blender ui as it is.

Something like that might be helpful for people new to Blender. I know I struggled trying to learn it and then giving up many times before Blender tutorials seemed to explode on YouTube! Now I'm pretty used to it (no expert by any means). I personally am used to it though as it is, but it may be more intuitive for new folks.

Did you know you can switch the control method to Maya and 3D Max controls, if that helps?

When you fist load blender, you get the square splash screen, on the right hand side just under the splash image is a drop down menu which lets you choose different control methods:
