@ lee or @ smallg
i need some answers please, hope you can help me.

1.: what happend to the ai_wanderer scrip that was in the script folder, when you open it now, it refers to some other files. Does it still work with the new scripts, if so were is it. ? if not then just please tel me were and at what line i can paste the old ai_wanderer script into the new ai_soldier script , so that my ai_solders can wander again and still shoot me if they see me.

2.: the ai_soldier file when you open it it refers to a new sub folder called ai, Ok that make sense. but i have made some mods in the old ai_soldiers script file and that file is no more in the root script folder, but when i run one of my maps were the ai_solders is now using the new ai script files, i still get my kill count and my xp count but not my head shots. The new ai_soldier file has replaced the old file, so how can it still show the information.
Or does it still get some information out of the old ai _soldier file? , if so from were.?

Thanks

Changelog notes from Lee:

Commented out old AI globals (will affect any scripts using old AI system)
NOTE: To continue older script projects, you can comment global.lua OLD-AI back in

The AI scripts are modular now for the new AI system. This allows you to make include calls instead of having many copies of the same scripts for different characters.

Headshot is now found in Module_CombatCore.lua

Your Killcount and XP are probably driven by a custom script.
I used (and still use) the Exit field of ai_soldier, but i found you need to add yourself an Exit field in the New AI_Soldier.lua

so by saying " but i found you need to add yourself an Exit field in the New AI_Soldier.lua" you mean add it in the
Module_CombatCore.lua script or am i reading you wrong.

i would stil like to know were i must paste in the old ai_wanderer code.

for anyone who wants to know, i have renamed the old ai_soldier script to soldier.lua with al my mods that i have made so far, and put it back in the root script folder. and tested my maps again, now the ai is working again, and may i also say they are out performing the new ai_soldiers most of the time.
So until the new ai_soldier script is working as it should , i will use the old one in the meantime.

I had a thought about that. Maybe instead of just commenting out obsolete globals, he could move them to a new file called legacy_globals, then have an include line in the globals script to call them, that way the current globals script is less cluttered and there would only be one line at the top for people to un-comment. Would make it much tidier, easier to change, and more obvious.

For standard script kill count i added the exit field to ai_soldier.lua
