Here is how to post a script code:

Step by step guide:

1. Copy and past your script into the big black box at the bottom of the screen where you type in your forum comment. See picture 1 below as an example.

2. Use your PC mouse to highlight the script code as seen in picture 2 listed below.

3. Click on the "Code" button at above the comment box as shown in picture 3 circled in red.

4. When you click on the "Code" button there should be a drop down menu that will appear under it, and you should then click on the part listed as "LUA". See picture 4 below with the red circle around "LUA".

5. You should be finished and it might look like a few odd symbols are posted at the beginning and end, but this is as it should be. See picture 5 as an example.

6. You should click on "Post Thread" or "Post Reply" in order to post you comment with the script code. It should look something like picture 6 listed below.

7. If you need to change anything, correct anything, or edit anything, you can easily click the edit button under your name in the post. It will go back to looking like picture 5 again, but once you post it again, it should go back to looking the way it is supposed to.

I hope this helps...

I hope to make a video tutorial of this soon.

I might also add that in order to edit scripts or to be able to cut and paste more easily, you might want to use software called "Notepad++" (which can be downloaded for free). You can get a glimpse of it in picture 7.

Since so many on this forum have been so kind to me, and helped me, I figured it was time to give back and help others. So, I hope this has been helpful.

Great tut for snippets but if you have a full script sometimes it may be easier just to post it like I have below ?

Safer too, some browsers (Windows - Grrr) add weird characters to the end of the line when you cut and paste. Probably a UTF thing.
Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!

Maybe I should also make a tutorial for putting the script into a downloadable file like synchromesh did.

I might need someone to show me how though... LOL...
