Hey guys, I am working on a bonus level for my game Hunted - anyway, I use the EBE there and it seems that there are some problems with it.
When playing the standalone, there are obviously some missing textures - (everything is black) AND there are also areas I simply can't go to.
It feels like there is a invisible wall, but I didnt place one...

It's like a hallway with 2 rooms on the right and left side, and I cant enter them. In gg itself, it works just fine.

I guess there are bugs when it comes to the standalone.. Looks like gg does not take the files over properly.

I just thought to let you guys and Lee know this. Might be something to fix in a next update.
Regardless about these issues, Thanks for the EBE. I think it's awesome and I didnt't think I would like it that much. Great work!

Cheers

It looks like old Gstandalone issue, times ago I remember myself being force to copy/paste missing files, by hand.
Does you've those missing textures in your standalone folder?

Does you lightmapped your map?
if so, can you does again and try but in GG itsef, does not standalone?
Recently I did LM in one of my models (non standalone and non EBE), and after LM I got collision, so I can't go inside; it is a hallway too.

strange...

I gotta fix some other things with the levels first and will create a new standalone soon.
I will look for missing files and copy them over if needed. I will post my result here then.

yes. Now I saw that gg does ignore the ebebank folder completely^^

The Standalone doesn't contain the ebe files... Copied them over manually.

Try this .... Open your map ... Grab it all and move it to the left or right ... A reasonable distance if you can..
Then try again but you will probably have to Re - Lightmap it first ...

Oh and make sure you have a backup first ...

PS .. I'm assuming its an indoor Construction on a flat level of course

@Duchenkuke : Great video, nice and spooky! If you can send me a small EBE and FPM using stock assets that shows the issue, I can reproduce the bug at this end (the floor sound and invisible wall issue). Thanks.
