Hi, is there anyway of actually checking if a certain sound is playing, say for example if a generator is emitting a noise. I cant seem to find anything in the global lua to check this????

Hello!

As far as I am aware the scripts will only run once the game/test game is activated, so in edit mode the script are not active as the init and main have not been called yet.

Really the only way I believe is to test the game? Happy to be proven wrong tho

not quite the answer he's looking for, he means is there any feedback on if a sound is "still" playing... the answer is no (unless you use the globalsounds)

Agreed but as he added it by default to the global sounds I'm sure it'll get added if he goes back to work on normal sounds again...

It's possible to create your own timers and compare them to the length of the sound file though so you can still force it yourself... Just a lot of extra work depending how many sounds you want to check.
