I downloaded the shot_explosion.lua script from the Game Guru store. I showed a fully working video in the store but when I went to try it out the Sprites (Entities as you call them) don't disappear anymore and the animation of the pieces being littered across the arena don't seem to stay and only appear for a quick second. Any Ideas on how I might rectify this or is it something I'm going to have to go into lua and fix myself. If so that's not a problem just wondering.

Just took a look at the lua scripting it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the destruction of crates or boxes and more so to do with the animation of doors. this make the script almost useless. I had an animated door feature already. Can anyone help me to understand what is going on and why I even downloaded this script?

Problem wih store script is than not eveybody own this script, so is too difficult to guide you about something with don't own.
You can not post store scripts here.
So the only solution a see is pm to the autor of the script.

This script appears to need the models that are made and animated to explode when damaged.

Normal stock media does not have these animations in them.

As Myke said, that script does what it does by running an animation built into the model, if you don't use a model with an animation for it to use, then it doesn't work.
