I'd say that actually making Minecraft itself would be impossible in Game Guru though. Minecraft's maps are huge. You would have a very small version that would probably run really, really slowly. Many people mock Minecraft for it's graphics being blocks. But really, there are so many of them it is very impressive from a coding point of view.
I mean try covering the entire GG map with 50x50 cubes and see how it copes. Then try adding another 100 layers of those on top- and that's just the basic floor. You would also have to cope with probably the same potential blocks above ground level with cliffs and hills and anything you build as well. I can't see game guru coping well. You could script most of those to be hidden of course, but I'm not sure how much fps that would give you ultimately.
You could do a very small version for fun I imagine. No real need to use the EBE though as it is literally one block (or a couple of sizes for trees etc) with different textures
That is if you want to dig and chop trees down in the same way
