Is it possible to use pre-made entities, such as like Grunge Building (2), that have doors already placed, and make those doors usable/openable? or... to give the effect of going inside of a pre-made entity would i have to do like a 'new level' function of some kind and just spawn the player inside a room/building i make personally? any tips/help is much appreciated. i'm new to Game Guru.

No. They need an animation to move.

You can port the player around with lua though so you could technically show a fake door opening and then move the player to an inside area (doesn't have to be a new map for faster loading) - think classic Resident Evil.

Ok, thanks for the tips. now, i've never really done LUA coding. i have done some coding in say DarkBasic/DarkBasicPro. how difficult of a task would it be to put a "trigger zone" or something in front of the door, maybe trigger a fake animation to play, and then teleport them inside a building as you suggested?

This does what you want.
I used a $1 script from the store https://www.tgcstore.net/product/24301 because I am still trying/struggling to learn Lua as well.

Good thing about this script is that once you have it you can see how it works and adapt it a lot.
If you transport the player a distance away make sure you set it to always active or you don't arrive at your destination, just stay in a black limbo lol.

description in store: "Inspired by Resident Evil. Instead of opening a door, the player walks up to the door and presses the "E" key. A fade transition occurs and the player is transported to the other side of the door (See Video). This script also works with a door that requires a key"
its like deja-vu, but all over again, again
