so in my entity bank folder there are HUNDREDS of entities that do not appear in the in game (map creation)> add new entity.

example: in the weapons drop box in > add new entity, there are about 15 weapons (bow, axe, sword ect...) but in the folder there is about 50 including pistols, magnum, shotgun and the ammo etc. i managed to somehow add the pistol and the ammo to the 'user' folder (no idea how, complete fluke) and can now put them in the map and use them like normal, but when i tried the same for the shotgun (etc...) it doesn't appear in the library.

is there a method to adding these entities in so i can use them? are they in the wrong directory? pls help my last resort is a fully re-download GG to see if that fixes anything, but internet data costs money :/

Check to be sure that the parental lock is not on.

9119 is the unlock code if you can not remember yours.

thanks man, fixed! I didn't even think of this because i had already turned the parental lock off when i first installed GG. looks like it didn't turn off for some reason or reactivated. might be worth checking for a bug or something since the pistol and gore were still available

Glad it is working for you now. Sometimes it resets it self when updating. Has been reported, but I see occasionally it still happens.

Odd, I've seen a lot of people with that issue over time. Parental controls have never been activated on any update/reinstall/etc. for me. I wouldn't even know how to turn them off if they did manage to get turned on, lol. Stay tuned for me ask that question some day!

Many I see are new users first installation ....
On very first install I think it asks something like " For Parental mode Enter 4 digit number and press return or esc to continue " usually instinct is just press return so no number is added and parental lock is enabled ..

Next minute there on the steam forums swearing they haven't enabled it

Yeah
I had issue at first I did find in \steam\steamapps\common\gameguru\parentalcontrolmode.ini

it seems to have a value of 1 for regular and 2 for content lock I changed it to 1 when I did not know my password and that seemed to have worked

you will also find parentalcontrolblacklist.ini that contains a list of restricted items in content lock mode

It's a good rule, it's a shame that it breaks right when you turn on, the television
