Are you running GameGuru through Steam, or have you installed it with Steam then are running it direct without loading Steam? The store downloads require you to launch GameGuru from Steam to work.
If that's not why it's doing it then, we can't really help you on the forum, it would be an account issue, which you have to deal with directly with TGC, click the green help button on the bottom right hand side for the forum to open up a help ticket.
