Hi,

I have some questions related to FPS template.
GG FPS template uses two cameras, one for level and another for weapon and player model, this way player weapon never go throught geometry.

I think post effects must be rendered twice, one time for the camera level and one time for the player and weapons.
Does this impacts performance and post effects ?
Are TPS games faster , as they use only one camera ?

Not at all, just one post process pass is required, and the trick with the gun is to wipe out the Z buffer and then render the weapon, not two cameras.
PC SPECS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-5930K (PASSMARK:13645), NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 GPU (PASSMARK:9762) , 32GB RAM
