Include a way to change the effects in the properties, like the old FPSC. That way we wouldn't have to edit the .fpe.
Just a thought.

I second this, especially since we have not only an awesome community member rewriting most of the shaders for us, but a couple of other great community members writing new shaders for us.

We should have as many options as possible in the properties for entities, we shouldn't have to be editing files as much as we do.

yes a properties panel or tab to change animation frames of the existing ones that are hard coded.
well the ones we can use anyway. walk strafe run jump shoot ect. just a simple way to edit in the editor.
live tab . with a view animations script like the one already included in the scrips. just a simple edit fpe
lua tab to add frame numbers to, name of entity ect.

Being able to assign animation frames in the properties tab would be awesome.
