Seems like it is on the minimum side on the GPU.

Should run, but not going to be a speed demon. You may have to keep levels small right now.

Pirate Myke, thanks, but even with one level and just a few hills and nothing elseI still get 5fps. Maybe I need to tweak my setting. Thanks

Could you post a screen shot of your tab tab screen while in test game?

Unfortunately that setup will struggle a lot.

I concur, I'd say that you won't get anywhere near 30 fps unless you develop a very restrictive game on the lowest settings.

Here is the minimum specification for GameGuru in terms of graphics horsepower: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce+GT+440

See if you can find out what type of Intel HD Graphics GPU you have and compare them PassMark scores. If it falls well short, and you have used GameGuru for less than 2 hours and within two weeks of purchase you can get a refund from Steam
PC SPECS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-5930K (PASSMARK:13645), NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 GPU (PASSMARK:9762) , 32GB RAM

Yes and no.

For this laptop, yes absolutely, even an I3 sandybridge with HD graphics 4000 would easily mean a boost in performance in comparison with the N3530.

This processor however with a tdp of only 7.5 watt is a lot more friendly on the battery.

No, because you won't have this laptop forever.

Is not the best card for GG. I've Lenovo laptop with integrate intel hd graphics, does not expect to get more tan 30 fps as mentioned above, anyways from time to time you can get picks (50,60 fps), but no often.

Anyway 5 fps looks like Mike pointed above, most likely you has to decrease or even off, your "post prossesing" values (bloom, dof, etc)

Compare your specs with the specs on this link.

Then check your benchmark here:

https://http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/Fgpu_list.php

Appears all is fine except for the onboard graphics which comes in as passmark 590. Is that the only GPU in the machine?

In honesty, all laptops are weak. You are always better off with a desktop PC for performance by a massive margin. I can never understand why people buy a laptop when they want to play games or anything other than basic use. Certainly developing any software, your always going to be better off with a desktop.

Obviously, this advice is no good if you have what you have, but if you can get another machine, you will always get a better system if you get a desktop. Laptops are for people who are never in one place for long or people who have no clue or interest in PC's. Unless you have no choice (travel or a picky partner) get a desktop.

I'm not a fan of laptops. The performance is bad, the input is bad and the screen is bad. I wouldn't buy one for a bet, let alone any serious use.

Or pony up the money and buy a gaming laptop. They ain't cheap! Desktop is always the better choice for performance vs. cost + ease of upgrading.
Desktop: i7 4770@3.4Ghz (passmark 9809), 12GB RAM, Win 10/64, GeForce GTX 1080 (passmark 12006), 1TB SSD, 1TB HDD; Laptop: i7 4800MQ@2.7Ghz, 16GB RAM, Win 10/64, GeForce GTX870M , 1TB SSD.
