Hi,

I seen this FPS Creator Reloaded video, and i found materials, lighting looks so much better than actual GG (even replacing shader with new Preben ones).

Why does GG has done so much back steps in graphics rendering quality ?

I wish GG could have real lights like spot, directionnal, point lights with their natural lighting, instead of it's actual strange very flat lighting that looks like 10 years old games.
Should lightmapping be removed to increase quality and allow common lights in GG ?

Reloaded is GameGuru, what's in those videos was teaser stuff they never implemented, or found out that it didn't work properly, took it out to fix, and never put it back.

What i see is basic dynamic lighting types with good normal map shader, this is not something impossible.
I wish GG will get as good or better.

Yeah, from what i understand a lot of it was removed when Lee converted it to C++ with the intention of converting it, and never got done, or he found a different way of doing it. I really wish he could grab ravey and dave from the other projects and spend a few months just hammering out the core issues and forget adding new features until it's done.

That video is basically a prototype for the kickstarter and never was Reloaded, probably put together in DBP,none of it was ever in Reloaded and just an example of what they wanted to do.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's Dark Basic Pro from what I recall.
