I don't lightmap much but I'd suspect it has something to do with the transparency of the model. Probably something in the .fpe (transparency = ?, perhaps?) but can't think of it right now as I'm a little hung over and fuzzy-headed, lol!

Is there a way to remove the "pre back" I did, because every time I start the game is loaded with the "pre back".

transparency = 0 and transparency = 1 in .fpe file.

For now I removed the "pre back" until I find an answer.

I was gonna suggest try transparency = 2 next, but I got home and had a chance to try it. I also made all the other .fpe settings the same as one of the chain link fences. It makes no difference. I'll poke around with it some more when I get a chance. Perhaps in that time someone who knows much more than I will chime in here!

I saw those too, and just a test I REM'd them out. It made no difference.

I didn't even notice the texture reference. Good eye, Bod! Yeah, a black texture would make it transparent. I just tried it and that was the issue all along. Stor, just leave the texture line blank and save the fpe. ( textured = ) That will fix your issue! The texture is actually referenced in the .x file, so the fpe is messing it up with that call.

Just be warned.. if you follow the advice to leave the textured field blank, then when you make a standalone it will not copy the textures over tot he standalone, you will have to copy them over manually.

Item use "BF_metal_D.dds";"Brick06_D.dds"; and "marble03_D.dds" textures.
Ignore what this black texture does, you has to follow Jerry's and Belidos's suggestions.
