I have, however, separated them (duplicated, actually) from their original folders and added them to a folder containing whatever project I'm working on. I have also considered making a "favorites folder", but again, time. I have a utility called P3DO explorer which kinda helps to an extent, but as of yet haven't used it to it's fullest. It's a utility meant to sort and track assets. Very flexible. It was originally developed to track Poser assets, as their system of organization is just as horrendous as GG's. The whole thing really boils down to artist's folders vs. asset type. Very difficult. Anyway, P3DO is free, but you cannot view Directx files with it. I believe their is a plugin for it for a price. I haven't looked into that. Good luck!
