If the screen is a solid colour when you enter test, then that's usually an issue with graphics drivers..

Have you recently updated them?
Occasionally a new update for NVidia drivers will come out and break GameGuru this way for me, if i role back the drivers it fixes it, and usually the next new driver when it's released will fix it for me. It may be something like that is causing your issue.
