Bit of a mouthful that title, but that's basically the theme of this post. A look at my WIP New Beginnings and a showcase for optimisation in GG. If only GG did it under the hood

Enjoy! Or at least let me know what you think

Thanks Granada I'm wondering... Is your username based on the game, or the TV channel? I remember being able to just about get Granada on my telly when I was a kid, real fuzzy crap, but back then you lived with it for some stuff It's probably the game, but I'll always remember Granada TV

Been a bit too long ago to have owned a Granada or Cortina here, I went Vauxhall when getting into cars, only owned one Ford, which as with the Granada and Cortina is no longer made now. Have you seen the price of them theses days? A good condition Granada or Cortina can cost a fortune!

Dvader checked out your other post. New Beginnings looking good.

Sorry had to comment on car.
This is what the Granada I had looked like. Can't really call it a Granada unless it is a big car
with a real engine a V8 302 cubic inch, otherwise know as the BOSS.
The coffee is lovely dark and deep, and I have code to write before I sleep.

I remember them growing up. Also the TV series The Sweeney, The Professionals and the newish series Life on Mars with the Cortina's. Not many on the road these days as all the banger racing guys totalled them in the late 80's and 90's.
Dark Base 900 Pro OJ: Rampage V Ed.10, i7 6950x non-OC, DDR4-3333 64 GB RAM, Win 10/64, Asus Strix GeForce 1080 x 2 MDA mode, Water cooled with an old Victorian cast iron radiator and a industrial leather belt driven fan - That's what you call Steampunked.

It looks like a Granada Simulator would be popular at least with a few people here It was me that asked the question that started this ;p

Still, any critique on the new video and what you like/dislike would be good on the WIP thread. This level is not really set in stone, I certainly want to change several areas down the line. I've really just been seeing how fast I can get it to run so far. This is probably the 5th version of the same map now

I've added a playable demo of the second level now. It's merely a map to walk about and fly (if you find the jetpack) to test it's current performance on different machines. No actual game as yet. I'm still seeing how much speed I can inject at the moment, although this is not far away from as fast as it's going to get now. Results so far have been good, but now it's time to see what all specs manage
