I am looking all over and cannot find a snow scape. Is there one hiding somewhere?
I live in the Philippines so maybe it melts before it gets here. LOL.
Thanks,
Ken

Load up GameGuru
Run a test game ..... Press " Tab " Twice ...
From the World Setting select "Terrain" then Ice or Ice2 ...
Then esc back to the editor and do a little sculpting
Run test game after to check your results
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Has mentioned above you have two terrain options. Additionally there is a member in the forums that is providing an animated Snow Boxes you can place around the player. Its not real particles however so the snow kind of follows you. We'll need a particle system for better snow, but that won't be for quite sometime.

Here is the best I can come up with, with what we have:

Also if you add ambient loop of a blizzard or light winds it helps. As for myself I live in Canada so this was easy to record a few years ago. I think there might be some free loops online you can use in your games without having to pay royalties.

While visuals are important, I'm a bit detailed obsessed so having ambient layers is important. You can still have music but having that extra bit of information to really convey to the character the environments he/she is in... really helps with the user experience.
