Hey Guys,

my work on the game "secluded" is at a pause right now. There are some reasons for that. I'm just letting you know.

I want to make something more different to my first game Hunted: One Step Too Far - wich has also been discussed in another thread today -

I hope you guys don't mind me posting this thread, I just want to share this video and collect some thoughts about it - It really helps me.
I am in the story writing process right now, so I cant call it a WIP yet.

There is a lot wrong with this currently.

If you want to go for an abandoned and dark scifi station, you will need to remove all the illumination textures from the environmental models. I can see plenty of things that should emit light but don't making your video seem extremely flat. (also why is everything blue when almost everything that should emit ambient light is orange?
When working in scifi you need solid knowledge of lighting your environment. I'm sure that you can do that.

add some static lights and bake it, shadows will really help.
agreed that it's a little blue in places but it does work the rest of the time, just add a bit of orange light to the areas with the orange strips maybe
some generic sounds will help bring the place to life a lot more too, computers and general electricity humming when near objects etc.

In addition: A lot of the furniture does not work well with the hallways themselves.

Add this script to a soundzone by a computer... See how this works for you ...
