Hey Guys,

Is it possible to have something like this in standalone:

Level 1: Entity Shader = highest

Level2: Entity Shader = lowest

When I am in the level editor I can change the graphic levels and I am working with that fps rate. Now I created the standalone I have huge fps issues because the setup.ini controls the graphics and ignores the selection I chose in the "tab+tab" menu in the editor .

Is there a way to force different graphic settings in levels?

You can change these in the Setup.ini in your standalone ... see if that helps

Very short answer.. NO.

All level quality settings are set by Setup.ini
You can only have one variable for graphicshighentity=X

Cannot be changed with LUA as far as i know.

there's a lua command called
SetGameQuality(v)
which basically swaps between low, medium or high presets using a value of 1 ~ 3 (not sure if highest is used or not but that would be 4 if so).

You can create shaders from the stock ones that will only apply the settings you want. Does mean you have to attach these to all the entities within the level though which can be a bit time consuming as a retro fit. I apply 'lowest' to most entities and keep 'high' for key entities (especially those where illumination maps needed). It does help the fps. Cheers.
