Reading through the forums and steam feedback I do see plenty of negative comments. But there again, I see game developers with years of experience giving positive reviews. So my question is, can the glaring issues not be fixed with scripting or modifying things? Like I read where the mobs cannot traverse stairs. Well that is a pretty big issue in my eyes if you cannot control the AI. I would need my game to be multiple floors on certain maps, with buildings being up to 6 floors high. If there is currently no way for the mobs to go upstairs, follow, etc then that is a deal breaker to me.

I am not overly concerned about the graphics unless they cannot be swapped out, hell I would have to do that with Unity or Unreal.

Hi reefcrazed, welcome to the forum. This is an issue with stairs at this point in time but is very high on our voting list to be resolved soon.

GG gets bad press due to bad games made with GG. It the game maker's not the engine. I'm sure you'll get the same across all engines.

Plus you can re-texture all entities in GG.

there aren't enough commands available to the user to allow you to really modify the AI for much right now so we're waiting to see what happens after the AI update.

Another question, or I should say concern.....multiplayer. I hear this is very high hanging fruit for the developers. Is there any way of implementing another network engine?

No most of these things are hard coded or just dont have a work around.

Technically, you could work around it. It would require a lot of work though in comparison to just dropping in AI to the level. The animations for traversing stairs exist, amongst many others. I've seen examples of better AI over time, I even worked on it myself long ago to a limited degree. Still, we definitely need better core AI commands to get this working properly. Once the basics are sound, scripting additional AI responses should be far easier than it is currently.
