Here's another alien. I'm still practicing with characters so until I feel I got the process down I'm giving them away for free. Put the character in your entity bank and the script in the script bank and you're good to go. Thank you to gtox for helping me get things sorted out

Thanks granada and you're welcome. Hopefully with the next one it will be smooth sailing. Now that I have a good handle on blender im feeling much better about making these characters.

This one works really well in a dark corridor style game where he comes tearing out of nowhere at you. I will definitely use it though I may retexture it. The stock AI seems a little buggy too but overall does the job. Movement/rigging looks good.

Thanks

He does look best in the dark and I will agree with you on the a.i. It does need some work but until I get better with lua it will be serviceable at best. He also has a walking animation but with the current script I'm not sure if he'll use it are not to patrol. If anyone wants to update the script for the community and post it on here it would be appreciated. If I knew what I was doing I would like to make creatures that ran on walls and jumped off the trees and buildings but I'm not quite there yet...

I really like the environment you have going on there. Amazing creatures indeed. For the environment's puddles is that the game-guru water or an object/shader?

What I do to make the puddles is i lower the terrain to barely up above water level and then use the level tool to flattened the rest of the level even. Then you go into the in game editor and lower the spots that will be puddles. I do it with the in game editor because it's less sensitive and makes puddles rather than ditches. Then you build up the rest of the terrain from there. add a little sediment terrain texture in and around the puddle to give it the Mossy worn down look. That's about it
