HI all, after reading
Honkeyboy WIP vcity post I decide to make a few assets. There are eight blood health assets which can be used in any game.
The idea behind this is each will have its own health points and will affect the player based on their blood type.
Example:
Donor > Player
Type > Group Types
O > O, A, B, AB
A > A, AB
B > B, AB
AB > AB
Type > Health Points
O + > 10
O - > 5
A + > 30
A - > 25
B + > 30
B - > 25
AB + > 55
AB - > 50
The example is based on the start menu and the player selecting which blood group they want to start with in the game.
They will come across different blood type bags throughout the game. This will work the same way as any game difficulty setup.
[Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme] - four blood types.
All you need to do is add these to your level. Now if they come across a blood type bag that is not compatible they will lose health.
I have made the assets as your see in the image below. I'm just working on the start menu and scripting. Any extra ideas will be great...
