Having reached the final stages of restoration of my 1953 Mg td I decided to relax a bit and just play around with a couple of concept graphic ideas...
If anyone is interested they might just try viewing the video in full screen.

@synchromesh
Thanks for the comment.
While I wait for a couple of car parts I think I will take another look at the revisions I have made to the water_basic.fx file.
I like the ripple water effect but still need to resolve the ripples carry to the shore line. I am trying to make a river or stream effect rather then a lake or ocean. (ripples rather then waves)

I'm close but not quite there...

@synchromesh

I went to your site and downloaded the files per your suggestions. I have made the stream and everything works as advertised. Is there a way to
slow down the water flow? Like maybe a simple variable change in the fx routine.

Again, I'm just playing around until my mg parts arrive ...

Thanks for the suggestion.

I would say yes ...
In the " Effectbank / Reloaded / Waterfall2.fx
If you open this with Notepad it seems there are settings you can edit ...
Athough I'm not sure exactly what to change if I'm honest ... This was a Bond1 creation

Spent some time messing around with the water_basic.fx file trying to get the water ripples to extend from shoreline to shoreline. I was able to identify the code line that needed to be revised along with adjustments to several lines of code that control the wave height and spacing.

To see the full effect of the shore to shore you need to set the video to full screen mode.

It will do for my purpose, I think. What do you think?

Still playing around ...

The subject video may not be to everyone's liking as a potential gaming concept but the intent of the video is show what can be done In Game guru with
some half way decent models. Now that I have the required models I can create many different concepts in a time frame of 1 or 2 hours (only in Game guru), using the models now available to me, using and reusing the same models in different backgrounds and game ideas. I have reached the point were any additional models using the texture elements I have acquired can be created in a short period of time.

The video also shows the FPE counts during the exploration of the video.
