Have you tried exporting as .X ?
You may need to enable it in the preferences ..

That's how I was exporting it. It only gives me this error when I export as a .x file. All the other file types work fine :/

You download them from blender.org

But I doubt it will help. 2.78 is what i use, and I'm not having issues exporting with it in any of the supported formats.

Looking at your error it looks like you haven't selected you model I the 3d pane before trying to export, it's trying to export a model with nothing in it.

i5, NV960 2GB, 16GB memory, 2x 2TB Hybrid, Win10.
i3 , Intel integrated graphics, 6GB memory, 512GB Generic SATAIII Win8.1.
Intel Celeron (duel Core), Radeon integrated graphics, 4GB memory, 180gB Generic SATAII, WinVista.
Q6600, Intel integrated graphics, 8GB memory, 512GB Generic SATAII, Win7.

I have though. When I try exporting a different model, it works. I don't know what is it about this model..

Here's the link to the .blend file if anyone wants to see if they can figure it out.

Looks fine to me.

Had to add my own texture because yours wasn't supplied, and before you put it into gameguru you need to scale it up to 100/100/100 then set the scale, but it works fine.

Nice sword btw.

I just started from scratch, and had no issues at all... So I don't know how to explain it. Maybe I screwed something up somewhere that isn't obvious and is preventing it from working for me.

Well, the only thing I changed was to delete the material and add my own, then redo the UV. So it may have been an error with your material settings. You're using cycles, and although cycles is pretty powerful it van be a little tricky to get right sometimes, maybe you made a mistake there that you didn't make when you remade it.

Anyway, glad you got it to work in the end anyway. If that one's anything to go by you do some good work.

I actually fixed it, the same by reduing the material. I didnt realize I had it on cycles engine either.
