I am using a script for opening and closing a heavy metal door which works with out any animation frames. The "door_manual.lua" file works just fine for opening and closing the door.
My problem is I can't seem to get the code for the PlaySound command to work. I have placed the command in several different places with no success.
I think have reached my attempt and frustration level.

Edit: Tis a mystery. I saved everything shut down and had a glass of wine. Came back later and fired everything up again and the darn script file works just as I require. Now opens and closes the door with sounds.

I have no idea why, but I'll take it...

It turns out that shutting things down and trying the wine trick not only appeared to solve the problem, it also allowed me to discover what the real problem was. (I think) Windows 10 anniversary update and Game Guru have conspired to drop the connection between my Bluetooth ear buds and the computer. It was not a case of the coding in the script being wrong it was the fact that the earbuds were no longer relaying the sound. It has happened several time now with other programs. I have had erratic Bluetooth connection problems since the update, never before. Such is life. Not really Game guru problem but Microsoft Window 10 latest update. I cannot get the computer to connect with the Bluetooth earbuds and my Microsoft Bluetooth designer keyboard at the same time for any length of time.

I have this problems all the time, when you come back with new eyes you may see a script name not properly typed, or the entity is still static. When you leave and come back you have fresh eyes.

I've has problems with that Windows 10 anniversary update, and my internet connection too.
In my case, the update enabled Microsoft VPN connection (I don't use it), I had deactivate it, and my conn is ok now.
In fact that update changed many things in my pc.

i didn't have any permanent changes from windows 10 updating but i noticed the start menu (and any type of file browsing) or the sound would stop working while it was updating or waiting to restart after an update which was highly annoying as it didn't even warn me or tell me it's updating... i quickly stopped it from updating ever again after that
