Hi all
Today have problem with GG starting.
It will load to terrain then runtime 502 error.
It then freezes.

Wonder if anyone else is having same problem.

In process of installing from backup.
Will see how that works out.

(Custom) Intel i7 3.3 Mhz. 16 GB fast ram. EVGA Nvidia 560 Ti 4GB. Dell US27 2560 x 1440. AOC 24 1920 x 1080. Awesome.

Hmm strange indeed.
#define RUNTIMEERROR_IMAGENOTEXIST 502

Appears some image to the editor does not exist anymore.

Maybe try a file verification if your backup does not work.
Let us know what the outcome is.

It appears that a windows 10 update had caused some problems with windows defender. Still a bit of an issue here.
But had a backup. So uninstalled all the GG folders rebooted PC and reinstalled GG from the backup.

All seems to be working fine, except for windows defender issue.

Problem started when I was using GG and windows 10 update happened at same time. Guess that it corrupted the game level I was working on and somehow got stuck in GG as default start map.

But all is ok now.
Took me about 8 hours to find problem and sort.
Auto updates damn.

Glad to hear the issue seems to be resolved at the moment.

You can maybe try excluding the C:\Users\YourProfile\AppData\Local\Temp folder from Defender and see if that might make a difference for you.
