I just bought a couple items in the store a few minutes ago, and when I went to download them, it's telling me I have 1873 items to download. I just formatted my hard drive about a month (or so) ago and re installed everything from scratch at that time, including store items through GG, at least what it told me it needed to download. It was tens of GBs and took most of a day(actually, longer, now that I think about it). It is not possible for me to know if it downloaded everything at that time, of course. I've also since received the latest DLC. Was there some massive update to content that has transpired in the past month or so?

It might be that you have some big packs purchased from the store, things like the Artist Packs, that have had new models added to them or older models adjusted over time and you just haven't hit the download for a while and it's updating them.

(remember that number is every single file that's downloaded, each model has roughly 6 files, so really that would only be 312 models or so)

i5, NV960 2GB, 16GB memory, 2x 2TB Hybrid, Win10.
i3 , Intel integrated graphics, 6GB memory, 512GB Generic SATAIII Win8.1.
Intel Celeron (duel Core), Radeon integrated graphics, 4GB memory, 180gB Generic SATAII, WinVista.
Q6600, Intel integrated graphics, 8GB memory, 512GB Generic SATAII, Win7.

Could still easily be updated store items, If I remember right either oldpman or wizardofid added a huge amount of models to one of his packs recently too, it always confounds me how those guys can make and add so many models in such a short time.

Well, whatever it is, it's still downloading, lol! That little window drives me nuts!

Yes it is annoying, the biggest hate I have for that window is that it is configured to be "always on top", makes it very difficult to do stuff on other software while waiting for the download to finish.

Yeah, I keep moving it around but 30 seconds later it's in the way again, lol. I just realized I'll need to do this on my desktop as well today. Oh, joy!

EDIT: It just finished, finally! Now, I wish I knew what all it downloaded!

Well, now you've a lot of hd free space, and viruses out.
Anyway I hate when format/re-install all the stuff, comes in.

The most likely issue is you missed the folder that contains the list of downloaded store items when backing everything up. Without this folder GameGuru doesn't know the items are installed and therefore starts the download again.

Unfortunately if you didn't backup this data there is no way to restore it without a copy.

I am not on a Windows machine at the moment and can't remember the path of the directory, maybe another user with GameGuru installed can tell you the path for the folder.

I think it may be something like /Files/editor/downloads and is filled with a lot of text files.

I found that folder, DowloadInfo, and yep, lots of text files! Anyway, no big deal, I seem to have everything in place now. Thanks!
