Hi,
I'm a newbie, I have a problem with GameGuru.
I not see normal and specular map on my models and also on original Gameguru models, like not function.
I have try change in game test F1-F4, but this not give visible effect, I see only diffuse map.
Only import function of models give me only diffuse map.
Thank you for help and support.

Hello, to set the engine to show normal and specular maps, you need to go into the matrics panel during test game (Tab Tab) and set the entity shader to highest.

F1 - F4 are for light mapping.

Naming format of your texture files should be like this.
somefile_d.dds for diffuse
somefile_n.dds for normal
somefile_s.dds for specular

Hi,
thank you very much. Now I see something on diffuse texture, is not much but now I can see some effect of normal map. I would ask how is possible disable ambiental light. I would try put in scene 1 light that move in automatic for test better normal mapping, but I not know how to disable ambiental light and put a moving light. I have see that is possible add lights but not how disable global ambient light. Thank you very much for all. :

Hi,
I have solved disable ambiental light from [tab tab] but I would ask how is possible move a light in automatic mode. I must use a little script or there is another way? Thank you very much for help and support.

Unfortunately lights are not movable thru scripts yet. They stay where you place them.
But you can set up three of them and put your test object in the middle.
Set the lights at different heights around the space of your object. That will give you back light front light and one from the side.

Thank you very much,
yours is a good idea but maybe is possible also move entity that emit light, I do not know...
In any case I have try with fix light for now, but my problem is that I see normal mapping now but is not my normal mapping, is a default normal mapping and also if i change my normal mapping, nothing change is ever the same default normal mapping. Thank for all help and support.
