I've looked through most of the LUA commands and attempted some "hacks" but is there any way to rotate the camera based on the orientation of a parent object? Eg, flying an aircraft and rotating along the Z axis (like a barrel roal)?

Not at the moment, we do not have any real control of the player camera for now. It will be added, but it may be while before it is.

SetFreezeAngle(x,y,z)
SetFreezePosition(x,y,z)
TransportToFreezePosition()

You can get the entity's angle with g_Entity[#]['anglez']
(Replace anglez with anglex etc and the # with the entity number you want to work with)
