I can model everything and get it into game guru with it's flat natural texture.. how can I do it with BUMPMAPPING? As in using _D _N _S ? Do I just model everything as normal and export the model and texture, then make the normal and spec, and just name them _N and _S, or is there a method while modelling ? No clue about bumpmapping with game guru can do it perfectly in engine

This may assist you in your texture needs.

You can use Gimp if you don't want to splash on a dedicated utility. MindTex is useful and I use that myself for speed. Here's a video I did ages ago on about making them in Gimp. It explains the file structure needed as well, but you are right, just use _D, _N,_S at the end of the image name.

SPECS: Q6600 CPU. Nvidia 660GTX. 8 Gig Memory. Win 7.

Yeah, I can create them. I just don't understand if I need to invert Y or X when I export my NORMAL map or what I am doing wrong Game Guru wise. In Blender the models look beautiful with the normal and spec. Inside Game Guru however, I can't really see a change hardly

In Game Guru x is right and y is down.

When you get them into the editor and run test game. Go into the matrix settings (tab tab) and make sure the entity shader is on highest.
Take the ambient slider and bring it down to around 15.
Take the objects slider and bring it up to 30.
Take the global specular slider and set it to 66 or better.

See if that brings out your normals. Then if the appear reversed, then invert the green channel in the normal map.
That will let you see them both ways and decide which is best for that model.
