I just purchased the Premium bundle of GameGuru on steam last night and I go to my Entities, then weapons, and there are no guns? I know it is supposed to come with a couple of guns but why do I not have them? All there is, is a sword, a hatchet, stones to throw, things like that but no guns.... what am I missing?

Looks like the parental control is on ?

Erase these three files in the Game Guru root folder and then do a file verify.

parentalcontrolactive.ini
parentalcontrolblacklist.ini
parentalcontrolmode.ini

@NewYoRicanBoy : I have seen this a few times now, and I am sure it is putting some users off going much further with GameGuru. Aside from completely ripping the feature out which would be a pity, what would you have us to to make it clearer that the password you entered was ONLY used to activate the parental control system and hide all the violent aspects of the software? Perhaps a confirmation dialog, i.e. Are you sure you want to hide all the weapons, blood and violent aspects to the engine?

Some users are having parental lock already enabled from installation from what I have seen here and on the steam forums ?

Yeah, as syncromesh said, it looks like the parental control is automatically applying on installation for some people.

I think a simple 'settings dialog' would resolve a lot of problems. For example managing the parental control settings and stuff. Maybe people would first look in there for some settings... It also would be nice to customize GameGuru a bit.

And just a thought on the matter of the 'auto flatten' terrain question in a broadcast (can't remember which one): Many people want it off by default. So they do a request and contact Lee or put a topic on the forum... Wouldn't it be much easier for everyone to have a simple checkbox in a settings dialog everyone can access?

The parental control was on already when I initially downloaded the software. I did not know that, I turned it off and now I got all of the guns. Thank you guys!

Do we ALL agree there is NO value to asking a new user whether they want Restricted Content Mode if they come in as a Steam user? If all agree, I can raise it at the next dev meeting with the internal team.
