I made this initially as something to give myself to work with when making maps with my six year old son.
It was primarily designed as a means to quickly draw up roads that are realistic looking without having to lay a ton of models down (such as with piratemyke's road set, which is damn fine but time consuming for me to use). I will admit I was a bit inspired by VA's impressive work. I'm sure I've not quite met his level of parity, hence the lower price. My goal was to provide a competitively priced option that used artwork which I could verify was ok for 3rd party use and commercial use.

It features:
This 1024x1024 terrain is specifically intended for creating roads and paths without having to lay tedious models of road components. It allows for hilly terrain with a more natural feel.
The enclosed textures are:
A sparse grass and scrub texture (default).
A dry dirt path texture.
An asphalt texture.
A 'tar and chip' style road
And a dual purpose 'rock face' / rough concrete texture.

All textures are 1024x1024px and repeat well.

Grass/Trees not included.

Anyways some screenies:

Frustratingly enough, it's still not approved. Apparently there was an unspecified issue with the zip file? But instead of just telling me, clearing it, and letting me resubmit I've been in limbo, so for those waiting for this unfortunately you're going to keep waiting.

They finally rejected it, now resubmitted it. Hopefully no troubles this time.

Bah, updated the pictures and accidentally got it taken off approval.
>_>
I thought you could edit those without losing the approval status.
Oh well, another week down the tubes.

Nope, you can only edit the prices and change it active or inactive. Anything else and it has to go back on approval.

Hope it doesn't take too long to get it reapproved, been looking forward to getting this, been looking for a good terrain with a couple of road textures that blend well for a while, I tried to do it myself but they turned out really dark with a black texture where they overlap, so I gave up.

I've repriced my set. I felt the price was too high for what I'm offering even though I had some sales already. If you purchased this already, let me know (with a screenshot showing that you bought it) and I'll try to put together a sky for you by way of apology.
