no collision atm has left dropzone2150 at a stand still, we sooo need vehicle collision well i do lots of bods playing with vehicles and i far as i can see thats the bug bear. they go through everything might stop at the missis but hey even i'd turn then :0 not anything special just that can we make vehicles hit stuff plz

Agree with this. You can simulate crash collision if your vehicle is relatively small compared to player as the player entity will collide. So if you monitor the distance between player and the vehicle you are attached to under normal conditions then once that distance expands over a threshold trigger an explosion and/or player health drop or fall out of vehicle or whatever needed. But could be a lot better and easier as you say . Cheers.

Hmn, I wonder if a quick fix to this would be to somehow add the ability for us to set the collision radius of the player so it could encompass the whole vehicle.

Now that does sound like a good idea Belidos, might just iron out that infuriating collision thing and will at least give us something to work with as we have nothing atm

you can do that already, edit charactercapsulescale=100 in setup.ini

That's great info Ertlov. Would be nice to be able to change it via LUA though.

Plus I would assume that would change it permanently and for all characters, what we need is at temporary change for the player character while it's in a vehicle.

Mines already set to that? im sure the speeders i made still go though buildings etc they do kinda go up hills but look like they are going to go through them. i'll retest that tomorrow after editing the new game

charactercapsulescale=100 is the default, you need to change the number.

No idea, you would have to try different ones, I assume that the higher the number the bigger the radius is.
