Scripts / does the snowbox still work?

Im using the snowbox on my Scotland and Norsk Maps but its still snowing indoors in the inn etc = not good its ruining the food and putting the fire out, so far ive tried go_indoors.lua, go_inside.lua and the stock snowbox_indoor.lua = non of them work ideas plz

I don't think it ever actually worked out of the box, there were some other scripts you needed to use with it to stop and start the snowing when inside buildings.

Check out Corno_1's post on the snowbox v4 thread, he posted some scripts to create zones where it wouldn't snow, and such.

And you're putting snowbox_indoor.lua on a trigger zone in the area you want it turned off right?

yup tried it all 3 on a trigger and the house, still snows in the house

I has to be a trigger zone I think. Was the trigger zone dynamic?

Think it was m8 arnt they by default? retesting Edit: nope still not happening fpe maybe this is the main building i use

The building you use shouldn't make a difference, the script only works on a trigger zone (hence the plrinzone tags"=), you put the trigger zone inside there building and shape it t fit the inside, then when you enter the zone it stops the snow.

Not sure why it's not working any more though.

Just to be sure.

you did the following:

1. Placed the snowbox entity in center of the player marker.
2. You added the snowbox_followplr.lua to the snowbox entity.
3. You placed a trigger zone and shaped it to the seize of the inside of the building
4. You added the snowbox_indoor.lua to the trigger zone


and it's still not turning off...

I'll have to have a look tonight when I get home, haven't got GG installed at work, I'll see what I can come up with, but I think it may be something has changed with GG. It was definitely working in 1.12 (albeit invisible until you changed the transparency setting in its fpe) though.

Sorted it m8 1 bit of the marker was just outside the building :/ cheers for jogging the grey matter
