Description:
Fight your way through hoards of armed military personnel in beautiful terrain filled with stunning foliage. Try your hardest to survive through the rough and tough enemy AI and make it through to the end. Also keep up to date with info on update releases built into the launcher. Updates will include new maps, patches, bug fixes and more, so stay tuned!

Looks good, downloading now.
My only comment before playing it would be work on the terrain, the first picture across the river, really could use some work. Will update after I play it.

EDIT:
It was fun to play, but it was also very pointless.
It started off very fast, which I do not mind since I know the controls, but if you plan on selling you really need to have some sort of waiting period where the player can adjust.
The gameplay was fun, liked that you did not use the default guns, even if you did not make them yourself, it was still a nice change.
Nothing made sense though, why would a a shooting range be facing the ship with no backstop, why would the key be on the ship? I could go on longer, but you get the point.
The terrain is not good, I will put it straight out, its no good.
The trees on top of the hills need a lot of work, I really do not think you need them there

Although I am being harsh, it was fun to play, and you made a fun game, I just do not think this belongs on the showcase forum yet, as I believe it is still a work in progress.

Keep going as I feel this has potential just a few beginners mistakes.

Also, the launcher did not work for me, nothing happened when I selected the level, had to open the level manually.

Thank you for your review, Tomahawk! No plans on selling, just working on this in my free time. And I was kind of debating on whether this should go here or WIP because I was just gonna update it to add new content (Mods please change if this doesn't belong here).
Also, the style of this game isn't really based on story, just kinda going around killing a bunch of people lol.
Also kind of a disappointment that the launcher isn't working. Will have to look into the code and see what's going on there.
Anyways, thank you for your feedback. It gives me info on what needs changing and will help me to improve on this game for the better.

I am very glad you took my criticism as constructive, makes me believe that this will turn into a very fun little game.

Update: v0.02 is now up for download at http://www.indiedb.com/games/deathwish/downloads/deathwish-v002.
This update includes an improved menu, and improved terrain. Fixed the level launcher bug where it wouldn't open the levels. Also added and moved a couple of items around.

As you stated in your original post, if you are continuing to work on the game, it belongs here; if it is just minor bug fixes, to aid the gameplay for the end user, it would have remained in Showcase.
