Hi...

I found an old water shader in FPSC folder.
For those who need the water at different levels is a stopgap. Unfortunately I get no transparency to it, but for simple purposes still is quite good.

Test the stuff and have fun

These look really good. Only problem I am having is they only seem to be visible on flat land, if I sculpt a lake shape for them then drop them down to try to take the shape of the hole they go invisible, is there a setting i'm missing or something?

Hey Belidos. I just unzipped the entities and effect bank folders right into files, and I only see the one file, titled "Small lake" listed under entities. It works for me. I just have to move it around until it's at the right height and position and then scale it to fit so it isn't too big and the water plane isn't sticking out of the side of a mountain or hill or something. It isn't dropping into the hole for me.
You can't go into the water. Is that what you mean? When you do in the game, it disappears.
I think it's just meant to look good from outside of the water or from a distance for now as a temporary fix. Although, I wonder if we could add a block object under it with a translucent color or something that would simulate the water for now?

No, this is what I mean ....

When it's on the cursor being moved around I can see it fine, it looks great, but as soon as I click to place it, it goes invisible like the picture.

That's weird. It doesn't do that for me at all.
At first that was what I thought you meant, but I wanted to be sure.
Well, if it works for some and not others, what would cause that. Anyone?

Hi..

Use pic up/down for the right height.
I had this problem already. It is indeed a bit weird. But if I start a test game, it was then visible in the editor.

A small update Now the water is visible from below. Also suitable for smaller ponds.
It must always have the texture of the sky

I just used two of them, flipped one upside down, and put it just under the other. (That way the water was still visible from underneath.)
Then I added a light blue and dark blue light at about 100-150 strength to make it look like underwater. And a trigger zone with a sound that I mixed that had a splash followed by an underwater ambiance track. Works perfectly. Aside from being able to breath under water, but one thing at a time. lol.
Thanks again, Lafette II.
