ok well its kinda working the lights are working, all dynamic, ive brightened up the idds of the lamps doesn't really show on this test as it wasn't really dark enough, ive now changed that and the lamps do sorta glow nicely and lights seem to look better, didn't really effect the gameplay with all the lights

did you use an illumination map on the lamps too? the trouble with using only lights is that they very clearly come from the ground and not the actual light source so you should use an illimination texture to make them glow too.

well on my day off I spent all day and most of the night (missis is not my m8 atm lol ) getting these lights working on a big scale ive sorta got it right, what I don't understand is that in dropzone 2150 I can go from pitch black to summers day in this one I carnt? something to load up and check tab settings :/ anyways its looking pretty sweet I recon so I'm posting it to it ya all have a looksee just the lighting and terrain mainly the ai isn't even close yet. Ive edited the model lamp dds's to glow yellow and added 1 light per lamp (took like 4 1/2 hours :/ its not my model so if you see it and its yours say hi and i'll make sure I know whos it is ty for that. Its a quick run from Port Grendal to Prince Baowolf's Keep ( starter and story area ) theres 4 quests for this map to gain exp for the rest of the journey, Merchant's and inventory in and working ok but only basic items in stock atm phew chunter over oh 4 last words hand torch and shield *cry's*

What shader do you have under the effect line in the FPE of the lamp posts? Also are you running on Highest shader quality for entities?

Thanks smallg was set to private (corrected now) yes Teabone you'll see on the second video working a lot better everything on Max graphics wise and effect = effectbank\reloaded\entity_basic.fx and at least watching these back you notice bits = missing section of wall which is probably what's causing the lag spots :/
