The title explains it all

Not quite finished yet, but as ever I am eager to move onto a new project. I have a few more things to do to this but think it is near completion. It was all done in a single Lua script and everything is done with sprites. I'm happy with how it's turned out so far and hope to try something else soon. Still thinking about what to try next in mini games.

Once again, I'm seeing things in GameGuru that I've not coded yet Awesome work and a little scary to think what you'll do next with the next batch of LUA commands! Do you have a link where people can download and play your finished creations, they're so cool!

I can see walking up to one of errant als arcade cabinets and launching this! Great work!

EDIT (many hours later): LOL, I didn't see the arcade machines first time 'round! I was watching on my phone while at work and must have looked away! Still, great work!

Pure retro-game here!!!
Nice one Dvader

Time ago I've done something like that in Visual Basic, but breaking bricks with bonus bads and nices, I was thinking about it in GG.

Thanks all!
I don't have any links to this stuff really, only to a couple of older games I have done for competitions. This and my other demo's are still awaiting a game worthy of them. I don't even have any plans to release this on the store, although a few friends have said I should. Coding it in notepad was quite the pain at times. I found error codes I never knew existed Never good when you have no idea of where the error is.

After working on this over the last few months (on and off), I can see no reason why virtually any old school game couldn't be made in GG given time and effort. I hope this shows that Lua has great potential for GG and is so much better than the original FPI scripting. This certainly wouldn't have been possible in that!

Edit - Actually, Atlas textures would be a useful addition for sprites Loading them all in individually can be tiresome and obviously if it increases performance (less draw calls) all the better! Load sound would be most useful as well.
