Hi everyone,

As I continue to create my mini game, I also would like to dabble in modeling so I can create my own entities.

I'm not interested in creating characters or weapons right now, since I know how much more difficult those are to make. I'm more interested in creating buildings and houses. The reason why I'm asking for an EASIER modeling program is mostly because I simply don't want to bite off more than I can chew, and because I'm a big fan of classic PSone arcade style games where environmental realism is not a priority (My game is loosely based on 1999's Syphon Filter).

So if anyone knows of a modeling program that is friendly to amatures please let me know.

Thanks!

Wings 3d, Fragmotion should do this for you with ease.

If you plan on getting more in depth with mapping and UV, Blender is a capable program that compares with 3ds Max and Maya for functionality. For free.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 2400 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s), 8gb RAM, Nvidia gtx660, Windows 7 Pro 64bit, Screen resolution 1680 x 1050.

Thanks PM!

I want to create a mini game based in Vancouver, BC. So I want to create some of the city's landmarks to make it identifiable.

Thanks again!
