Hi all. Here's a video of a game I have put together over the last couple of days. It's not quite finished, but not too far off, but as Easter is almost over I thought I'd post a demo.

Been a nice bit of fun with the Easter DLC!

That looks brilliant !!

It just shows that we need more 3rd person character compatibility so we can create some games with a lot of diversity instead of FPS only which seems to be what a lot of reviewers think GG is all about
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Thanks everyone! I've had a blast making it so far.

Makes a change from the more serious stuff, although I do have a couple of surprises left to unveil (one semi-related to this and one more akin to my emulator video I did awhile back.) I have a few plans for this which will make it a little different later on My only issue is, there is not enough cartoon stuff on the store! If I have to start making my own scenery, then progress will grind to a far slower pace.

I agree we need more commands in Lua, or in editor for third person games. A way to lock the camera, or even better set your camera view, or better still both The current camera lock only affects the vertical view, a way to lock the horizontal motion would be useful for this game. Locking the mouse in script does not affect the control in game and I have not found any other useful way to lock the camera, without a lot of script work, which for this would defeat the purpose; I wanted something that was simple to make and looked reasonably good

Keep your eyes peeled for my next vids!

Hi DVader,

Please, could you explain the settings you used to have a following player camera like this ??

It's the kind of camera movements I need for my game style (maze game)

Thanks !

You have to setup a character for 3rd person control (drag onto start marker). This only works with characters setup for it. Select Properties, alter the camera position and offset as you wish and then lock the camera. The only problem at the moment is that the camera is locked in on one axis only, so you can still spin the cam around the character, which is not the effect I want in this game.

Thanks DVader,

@Lee,
please could you modify the camera control as DVader says ?

We could also realize the camera controls like Zelda or Mario (WII-U version)...
