I have been messing in blender for a couple of weeks now and I think I'm slowly getting there with texturing, this is a small building I have been practicing with and altho theres the odd glitch I think its going pretty well, 1456 tris .... is that good?

That looks really good, the brick walls are a bit too thin, and the brick texture isn't quite seamless in the sense that the pattern becomes grid like at a distance, but overall a very good model, well done

Yep as Belidos says if you sort your texture out it should look even better.
