Is there a way to disable the shift for running and spacebar for jumping functions or are they hard coded?

you can modify the jump speed/height to 0 which will still play the jumping sound effect but does stop you leaving the ground.
sprinting is more hardcoded right now unfortunately

was ARK: survival evolved made in GG? :o
