Does anyone know where I could get some vehicles? I need A coal truck but any extra vehicles would be nice ( not a request, just need pointed in the right direction if they exist.)

Have you looked here? (The Vehicles sub-category of the Entity category in the store.)

https://en.tgcstore.net/category/461/502?perpage=30&price=all&order=default

As far as drive-able ones, you may have to wait a bit for the official feature. There was a Twitch broadcast about using a script to make one and it works pretty nicely from a third-person view

There's a site with a bunch of models http://archibaseplanet.com/gdl?category=28 The usage rights are pretty liberal. I'd jot down the model creator's name and cite it, but it says you don't have to in the readme you get with file downloads, so it's up to you. They would have to be converted, but there are some really nice models if someone converted them. I am going to be using some of them in games I'm working on. Not just vehicles, though. Just about everything. furniture, architecture, statues, toys, aircraft, weapons. All static models that would have to be converted, but probably worth it. And it's all free.
I couldn't find anything bad being said about the site. Seems legit. And I've had no problem with the models so far.

Most of them are in .3ds format, which means they won't need converting, just put them straight through the importer, it takes .x and .3ds

Roger on that Belidos. Didn't think of it. You will find the odd sketchup format and various others, but usually they do tend to follow the rules and only upload 3ds there.

Thanks for the replies guys! I work through the week and don't have time to get on the forums much. Thank you all!
The models on that site are completely free for use in a commercial game? and If I get something other then the static entities I would have to program them myself but are they animated?

To my knowledge, everything on there is static, -not rigged. So if you want to animate anything you'd have to do it or get help. But yes, the agreement on there says you can use the models commercially and the rules seem to be pretty much open wide.

There's also a really big texture database on there that is royalty free. Some of which is already seamless without needing to be modified.

the disclaimer on the site says:
Quote: "Disclaimer
Downloading 3D Models, Textures and document stuff

By downloading 3D model, texture or document stuff you are agree with:

1. This 3D model is provided "as is", entirely at your own risk.
2. Archibaseplanet.com doesn't accept any claims regarding quality or any standards conformity of 3D model, texture or document stuff.
3. Archibaseplanet.com is not responsible for the further use of this model, texture or document stuff, and does not consider the usage claims due to lack of tools and authority to control, confirm or guarantee the accuracy of personal data and law information.
4. This 3D model, texture or document stuff may be freely modificated or elaborated.
Remark: The models are provided in *.3DS and *.GSM formats. The basic ways of use are 3D Visualisation, Interior Design, Architectural Visualisation, Landscape Design, 3D Animation and 3D Art. "

I seen the disclaimer but it didn't seem that clear on commercial things. Its a huge help though if they will import right in.

It lists a bunch of "Basic ways of use..." Says nothing of possible advanced usages, but also DOES give permission to modify them in any way. So I'm pretty sure it's all good.
